Composed by Sergio Altamura, "Blu" is a 12 track album, which exceeds preconceived contemporary limits of instrumental music for acoustic guitar; with percussion, loops, mechanical fans, intoxicating vocals and other guitars.
In the recordings on Blu, Sergio Altamura performs on a 12-string guitar, a tenor and a baritone, along with the electronic loops, voice and percussions. Ackerman plays, an acoustic guitar in the track "Before The Sea" and a parlour guitar in "The Name Of The Rose;" which Ackerman also co-wrote. Noah Wilding lends his voice, and Ackerman his guitar in "Before The Sea.
