Wahlsteen's ambition on the new record was to combine modern sounds from the Scandinavian pop scene with the more traditional vibe the acoustic guitar creates.“No Strings Attached” is definitely a guitar album but this time inspired by artists like Moby and Robyn rather than Jimmy´s previous releases inspired by artists such as Simon & Garfunkel and John Martyn.
His first two records '181st Street' and 'All Time High' established Jimmy´s name on the international guitar scene. His original style and uniquely produced music videos have attracted heavy YouTube exposure with views in the millions. His music has appeared on TV shows globally and featured in the most prominent musician magazines. He has toured over 15 countries and is mentioned amongst the biggest guitar artists in the world.
