Tagliani - Kugi : Arvoredo

Pedro Tagliani was co-founder, guitarist, composer and arranger of the brazilian jazz-group ”raiz de pedra”. Aside from his activities with the band he has been a highly demanded sideman for numerous recording and tour projects throughout Brazil.

Since 1993 he lives and works in Europe. His latest CD ”Arvoredo”, another milestone, is resulting from the fruitful co-operation with the renowned Austrian saxophonist Thomas Kugi.

Although the music of Pedro Tagliani is firmly connected to the roots of traditional Brazilian acoustic guitar music, he more and more integrates and refines the use of modern technology in his playing. In live performances as well as in recording sessions he extensively works with loops, samples and virtual guitar & synth sounds.
