Sébastien Cloutier's second full-length CD is a step forward in both production and song composition. Moving forward where his debut left off, Sébastien comes up with new textures and melodies that linger long after being played. The songs on "Correlations" offer up bold takes on Funk, African Rhythms, Progressive Rock, Ambient, and Blues. Throughout the CD Sébastien’s lead guitar lines are front and center.
Sébastien Cloutier's music is very melodic, powerful, subtle, majestic and sometimes larger than life. The first time I've heard him play, I was blown away by the insane amount of energy that he puts in his guitar playing. This album not only shows Sébastien's talent as a guitarist, but also showcases his abilities as a composer, melodist, producer, arranger and sound engineer.
