A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Matthew is currently based in Chicago where he is becoming known as one of the Windy City’s most promising musical talents.
“Matters of the Bittersweet," is a live solo recording with the addition of four songs where he is joined by band members Robert Tucker on 'Humming'burd' and Aviva Jaye on vocals and clarinet on three songs; 'Unnamable', 'Daughter of the Sun', and 'Drop a Coin'.
Matthew has performed at SXSW, Coachella Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Summerfest, MTV, and Chicago’s Around the Coyote Arts Festival and is also featured on Lupe Fiasco’s upcoming second full-length album, "The Cool".
